FAQ: Low cost insurance and funds

1. Where can I get low cost insurance and funds?

You can try the following:

a). Business center of NTUC Income
b) i-Term available from Income's website
c) Flexi-link and Combined Fund from NTUC Income
d) Exchange Traded Funds from the Singapore Exchange

2. Can you recommend an insurance adviser who offer these products?

I can recoomend an NTUC Income adviser who has agreed to offer only the low cost insurance and funds. As the adviser earns a small commission, you should not expect the adviser to spend too much time visiting your home. Discuss with the adviser by e-mail or telephone, or visit the adviser's office.

3. Can I buy low cost funds through internet portals?

You can buy low cost funds from the following sources:

a) Poems (Phillips Securities)
b) Fundsupermart
c) DollarDex.

You should choose the low cost funds. See this FAQ:

4. Can I buy insurance directly?

You can read the following FAQs on how to buy insurance directly:

5. Do you intend to set up a business to provide the low cost insurance and funds?

If there is sufficient demand, I will set up a business in a few month's time to offer low cost insurance and investment products from the best sources. My business interest is small. This is mainly for the convenience of the consumers.

I still recommend that you be educated and make your own decision on the best approach for your financial future.
